NRC Group continues its positive development and had another great quarter with a revenue increase of 42% and EBITDA improvement of 51%. NRC Group also announced the acquisition of NSS Holding AS in connection with the Q2 report. NSS Holding AS is the sole shareholder of Norsk Saneringsservice AS and 70% shareholder in Miljøvakta AS. With this acquisition, NRC Group increases the focus on sustanability requirements and enter the decomissioning market.

Techstep presented their Q4 2017 on February 15th with the following highlights: 
  • Q4 2017 revenue was NOK 281.5 million (NOK 162.3 million); growth was driven by acquisitions and solutions sales, slightly offset by a decrease in hardware sales
  • Q4 2017 solutions revenue was NOK 62.8 million, including an organic growth of 52% year-over-year*
  • EBITDA adjusted amounted to NOK 12.8 million (NOK 2.4 million); growth attributed to acquisitions and increased solutions sales. The adjusted EBITDA margin was 4.5% (1.5%)
  • Full-year 2017 reported revenue was NOK 789.8 million (NOK 573.5 million). EBITDA adjusted amounted to NOK 29.5 million
  • The end-user base comprised ~620,000 at the end of 2017, providing a substantial platform for growth in 2018
  • Entered into direct distributor agreement with Telenor Norge AS (replacing agreement with Kjedehuset) regarding sale of Telenor business-to-business products in Norway
  • Jens Haviken, with experience from Dustin, Microsoft and Accenture, was appointed new CEO, and will assume the position in Q2 2018

NRC Group continued its positive development and had a record quarter with revenue increase and solid EBITDA growth. NRC Group has also been appointed to several major contracts recently, including the 402 NOKm contract for rebuilding Holtet tramline-base in Oslo. 

Fourth-quarter revenue was NOK 673.8 million, an increase of 22.1% compared with the same period of 2016. The early onset of winter impacted activity in Sweden as work on some projects were postponed to 2018. Activity levels in Norway reflected a low level of rail- and tramway projects awarded earlier in the year. EBITDA was NOK 69.7 million (NOK 47.4 million), equalling an EBITDA margin of 10.4% (8.6%) due to solid project execution.

Full-year 2017 revenue was NOK 2,372.8 million, an increase of 20.1% from 2016. EBITDA was NOK 229.2 million (NOK 152.4 million), and the EBITDA margin was 9.7% (7.7%). Full-year revenue-growth and increased profitability reflected continued market expansion, strong project execution and successful delivery on the group’s consolidation strategy.
